Racing Class
Overview
Extreme
The Extreme class has few specification guidelines which enables
cars to be built using the lightest components and use the most
powerful powerplant (electric or nitro) Past performances have seen
these cars do the 1/10 scale quarter mile (132ft) in less than 1.3
seconds and reach real speeds in excess of 100 mph! These cars must
be seen to be believed!
Bracket Racing (Chicago Shootout)
This class will suit almost all racers including novices and allow
for almost any type of 1/10 or 1/8 scale vehicle to enter in this
dial your own class. This class is not about speed, its about controlling
the vehicle consistently and cutting a good light (reaction time).
Entrants will get multiple runs win or lose during the shootout
rounds as the top 8 drivers will then battle it out in eliminations
to determine the winner! example of vehicles allowed include: Bikes,
Cars, Tourers, Trucks, Truggies, Buggies OffRoad, OnRoad, Electric,
Nitro. This class is enjoyed by racers ranging from children to
grandparents and everyone in between!
Top Fuel, Funny Car, Top Doorslammer & Pro Stock
Just like their full scale Namesakes, these classes are run as professional
classes using a full Pro Tree to start each race. Each class has
set specifications governing things like, Wheelbase, Weight, Bodies,
Wings, Powerplant, etc. However, don't let the restrictions fool
you because these cars are fast and always entertaining to say the
least!
